PrepStar All-Region cornerback Terrill Floyd has accepted an offer to play for The University of Wisconsin Badgers. Floyd also considered offers from Bowling Green, Buffalo, Florida International, Marshall, Rutgers and South Carolina. Florida, LSU, Miami of Florida and South Florida have been recruiting him, but have not offered, yet. The Badger’s offer and acceptance may have preempted any additional offers.
The Lantana, Florida, Santaluces High School, standout is 5-10 and weighs 185 pounds. He is forty-yard dash time is reliably reported to be less than 4.5 seconds.
As a junior Terrill played both ways, rushing the ball for 234 yards and two touchdowns and catching thirteen passes for 201 yards and one touchdown on offense. Defensively outstanding, Terrill made sixty tackles and four interceptions.
Terrill is not only fast and quick, but has excellent closing speed. He is smart, has a defensive-minded attitude and is not afraid of contact, despite his size. He sees the field well, understands what he is seeing and makes good decisions.
