Sedrick Flowers, a PrepStar All-American offensive guard from Galena Park North Shore, in Texas, has decided to play for the Texas Longhorns. Flowers picked Texas over comppetition from Alabama, Houston, Kansas, LSU, TCU and Souterh Cal. Florida and Rice demonstrated strong interest, but haven't offered, yet.

Flowers is 6-3, weighs 270 pounds and has been timed at 4.9 seconds in the forty-yard dash.

Flowers is a key part of what appears to be an awesom Texas recruiting class.
