p>Joe McKnight, a Dream Team All-Amreican running back from Louisiana, is signing with Southern Cal. McKnight picked the Trojans over most of the best programs in the country, but, particularly after a rugged contest with LSU over the past few weeks.

McKnight is 6-1, 195 pounds and has been timed at under 4.5 seconds in the forty-yard dash. He has also run the one hundred meters in 10.4 seconds.

McKnight used his speed and size to great advantage to average 22.2 yards every time he touched the ball last season. He totalled 1926 yards of total offense.

McKnight's acquisition almost certainly will move the Trojans into the number one slot in the nation in recruiting this year. This may, indeed, be the best recruiting class, ever, at Troy.
