Marvin Shinn, soon to be named a PrepStar Dreaml Team All-American wide receiver from Alabama's Pritchard Vigor, has decided to play for the Tide. Shinn rejected offers from Auburn, Florida State, California, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Miami of Florida and LSU.

Shinn has good size for the position. He is 6-3, weighs 180 pounds and has been timed at just under 4.5 seconds in the forty-yard dash. He has an exceptional thirty-five inch vertical jump and a 4.4 second time in the short shuttle.

Last season, as a sophomore, he caught forty-six passes for 877 yards and seventeen touchdowns. Spectacular is quite the work for it. Marvin is on a fast track for the NFL. He has been compared to several other NFL receivers, superb, but without the personalty baggage.

Marvin is an outstanding catch for the Tide.
