The PrepStar story began in 1981 when company founder and president Jeff Duva created Collegiate Sports of America, the nation's first-ever collegiate recruiting organization designed to assist student-athletes and their families understand and navigate the turbulent and competitive world of college recruiting. Today, PrepStar is recognized as the nation's most respected name in the world of college recruiting, having helped more than 75,000 student-athletes live their dreams of competing in the exciting world of college athletics. Over the course of the last three decades PrepStar has helped student-athletes and their families receive more than $2.5 Billion in athletic scholarships and financial aid opportunities to off-set the financial burden of achieving a college education.

Jessie Lucier

My name is Jessie Lucier and I am currently a freshman at Harvard University. Last year CSA-PrepStar Prepstar helped me get into the college of my choice. CSA-Prepstar aided me in the recruiting process for women's pole vaulting to get the attention of a number of schools. I chose Harvard and have just finished a successful freshmen year pole vaulting on the Crimson track team. Just wanted to give you an update on Emily. She has signed a NLI with the University of Hartford to play for them next year and she received a full scholarship worth $29,000. They are a division1 team in the America East Conference. Emily received other offers from the University of Akron, Elon University and Queens University of Charlotte. She chose Hartford based on the scholarship award, proximity to our home, great business school and a very good coach. The Hartford offer was last minute and we only just made the early signing deadline. The Hartford coach learned about Emily through the CSA-PrepStar profiles you sent out.
